POINTECH//Tasos Koinhs & Dimitris Mataniskas//Thessaloniki-Greece

Pointech project is consists of Dimitirs Mataniskas and Tasos Koinis both coming from the north of Greece city of Thessalonikh.
Tasos was born in 1986 and from early age his interest in music was obvious.He was just 12 years old, when his parents bought him his first electric guitar and his crossing into music has started. Until the age of 16 he was involved with several instruments and also studied piano and music theory, which is formalized his knowledge in music.However while Tasos was growing up,he started be more intersted in electronic music and specially in trance,but he didnt stop there.In year 2003 he went to college and started lessons in "Music & Technology" that was time to make his own music.

Dimitris on the other side was never interested playing any music instrument like Tasos,but he liked listening and collecting music of diffrend styles spending lot of time listening them. He was born in 1978 and after 15 years his passion in music made him buy his first cdj’s. Playing in several parties near big names and after a long period into electronic music Dimitirs decided to make his own tracks,with the sound he got in mind.He is in age of 21 and during this period starting lessons in classic music and learning piano,just beacause he wanted to get some more knowledge in music.

Dimitirs and Tasos meet each other for first time in studio,while Tasos came play guitar for a track, was making Dimitris.After some days Pointech established and this was in 2005,with Dimitris & Tasos becoming closed friends.Their first work is a rmx for Progressive Grooves records for a contest of the label.The "Mikas-Spirit emotion Pointech rmx" was soon placed in charts of known artists as 4Mal and also took place in several mixe’s.Their deep prog sound soon place them on top on this style with several productions such as "Atmo" and the rmx for Niko Fantin track "All is clear".Nowadays lot of Pointech releases coming out with nice reviews as"Fantasy",such as this in progressivehouse.com which was released in Hypnomusic Recordings,Lee Bradley’s label and soon supported from several dj’s. During 2007 summer Pointech going higher and the rmx in "4Mal & Etiket-Tomorrow never comes" taking place in best rmx’s have ever made for 4Mal. Nowadays Pointech been close to listeners with several shows in net stations under their characteristic deep prog sound.
