Cdj-200 or Idj2?.........

Hey dj community!!! I’m just getting started in djing world and have some basic questions! what would you recommend for a beginner like me: a set of cdj200 with a good mixer which I know is going to be a lot more expensive then my second choice, a numark idj2 which you all know is 2 deck and mixer all in one and is about 750$ or so with, I was thinking, a pionner efx-500!! I know budget budget budget!! But I don’t really have any.... to a certain extent:)...... let’s say 1700$. I would like to stay at the low end of the budget obviously, but if I get an over whelming feedback for the cdj200 then I’ll go for it!!
Let me know what would be the better choice for a beginner, and I know a lot of you will say to stick with turntables, and for sure I want to try it out one day, but I feel like from everything I’ve seen and all the research iv done that digital is the way to go for me!!
oh and by the way I’m going to be playing mostly progressive house, techy, funk kinda of music...I don’t know if that will be a factor in the decision making....
Thank in advance guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would suggest getting a laptop, Traktor and some midi controllers. You'll get a lot of enjoyment out of doing this and you'll be able to expand on it with minimal effort and cost

thanks Maryann!! i was thinking of about that to....i havent done any research on it tho.... would you be able to give a starting point on where to start looking for this stuff?!! well laptop and traktor i know, but in terms of midi controllers.... are you talking about something in the lines of the vestax vcm-100 or vci-100?
and for laptop, do you need something really powerful or do you need an upgraded sound card? and would you sugest a mac or a dell or something else?.....
thanks for the info!!

if you are mostly going to use the laptop for dj'ing, I'd strongly recommend you get a mac - I have mixed with both PC and Mac and the latter have less driver/stability issues for some reason (no need to get a new one though).
on the controller side - well, it depends on your budget and use you plan to give it. I'm looking to get the vcmi-100 or try out the new Vestax Spin...I'm looking for a device with a built-in soundcard for e.g.
first i need to get a decent pair of monitors though...probably going to go with rockit-5. Unles anybody has a nice comment about the entry level m-audios
hope this helps!
