First up, hello to everyone, as this is my virgin post.

So – I am new to dj-ing although have had a love of EDM for a long time now. I’m on the verge of purchasing my first set-up, and I’m keen to allow myself space to grow so that I don’t have to upgrade again anytime soon. I was hoping you could take a quick squint at the spec and let me know if I’m heading in the right direction. In line with the forum, it’ll be progressive house im mostly playing…

2 x CDJ 800 Mk2
H & A Xone 22
Sennheiser HD 215’s

This is all I’ll be going with for the moment as I plan on being very skint after paying for this lot! I’ll be purchasing monitors as soon as practical next month, so my Logitech z2300 pc set-up will have to do for the moment . Also, if anyone could recommend a stand which could take this and two decent sized monitors I’d appreciate it.

Anyway, I’d be keen to hear your thoughts on the above (apart from the Vinyl vs CD thing – as I’m already decided in that area ).

I play mainly Progressive House as well, and I'm actually looking at selling the Numarks and trying out the CDJ's you mentioned above. Keep me informed if you have any new information!
