surely its just a case of what cash you have to spend?

if you had the cash, you surely wouldnt buy a toned down version of the cdj1000, i.e the cdj800 would you??? youd get the top of the line.

in the basement 800's

at the club 1000's

i saw anthony pappa do some cool loop tricks on the 1000s, so unless you're top level it's not worth it because you probably won't use it like they do

1000's for sure based on the finer pitch slide increments alone, you'd be a fool to choose otherwise I'd think.

Exactly. I also like the fact that it feels sturdier than the 800s. Plus, if you've got a residency or play clubs often then it just feels more intuitive when you're up in the booth

I personally think the 800's hold pitch better, but that's just me.
But just go with the top of the line gear, because god know's that what it's all about icon_confused.gif
