just wondering i have been listening to allot of commercial and bedroom producers i was looking for some new progressive style inspiration and all i hear some vocal progressive house and chilly progressive, and in other hand i see many young producers follows deadmau5, in those new tracks all i hear sylenth1 lead chord and white noise, my point is where are those percussive sounds and those dark style leads and basses? or it's just me still living in 2000's

id say progressive house is still the most expansive genre in terms of the sounds being released under the genre, just start listening out for the sounds you want by listening to new artists tracks and mixes

I would say progressive house is far from dead. I think you need to filter out a lot of that garbage that you say is coming your way in terms of commercial dread and deadmau5-like stuff. If you really take your time and look for it, you'll find that prog-house is just as strong as ever.
