hows it going everyone?

i have been searching the net for a decent place to talk about Progressive House / tribal. and i think i have found it. not to sure if its still that active though considering the redirecting to djmix. i have been a fan of progressive since the early days. i have been actually spinning trax since i was 16 now ive decided to attempt producing

Equipment:

Tech sl1200 x2
Tech sl dz 1200 x2
Korg KP3
Korg ESX-1
Novation x - station 25
Ableton Live
Vestax PMC-580Pro

im a vet to mixing. but a newb to producing.
i can invision the song but there is just such a learning curve to playing instruments, making samples, compositions, mastering. but they have always said practice makes perfect. and i have read alot of the post's on this site and you guys know your stuff so i feel that i have made the right choice and can call this home for now.
