Recently featured on Progrezo Records with massive support as one of the three winners of New York' electronic duo band Home Video and the Remix Contest sponsored by FOEM and SoundCloud around the world, rising talent born in Argentina, Lafken, has been involved with music since early days, learning to play, guitar and drums as part of his passion.
Mariano Mendez known as Lafken started to play guitar at age of 15, becoming the motor and music inspiration of several of his music projects actually. Producing electronic music since around 4 years ago, Lafken is a deep searcher of high quality music with sophisticated ambiences.
His senses and imagination have no boundaries driving through cinematic landscapes and solid beats. His studies of sound engineering brings him the necessary tools to define as much as possible an authentic sound with own music concept, discovering modern beats surrounded by large atmospheres in any of his journeys, where every single detail it deserves kind of attention.
His debut EP delights us with 4 brilliant tracks inspired in the forest. 'El Bosque' deliver an environmental atmosphere, opening ourselves to a new level mind. Sweet and subtle, it takes us to a multi dimensional journey creating kind of emotions for the spirit, worn with an elegant mid-tempo beat.
