Welcome to our new quarterly Loopfreaks Newsletter with news and updates from our two labels Loopfreaks Records and Loopfreaks Black.
So good so far!
Loopfreaks Records has come a long way since its Birth back in September 2006. And since the new birth of Loopfreaks Black (May 2008) and the split up of genres onto the two labels things has been moving fast with steady increasing sales, fans and a healthy flow of creative and very talented new artists signing up with us.
It’s been a very busy spring and summer with great tunes from our Loopfreaks Records rooster such as Fresh 27’s superb release with House Diva Alec Sun Drae
"Still Believe", Prunk Le Funk & Nevil Rickard’s
"La Musica", hitting top 20 on the overall sales chart on Traxsource, Christian Scott being creative and versatile with his
"volume 1 - 9 series", hitting the charts as no. 23 on Beatport and Soul de Marin’s recent release
"Coolness EP", to mention a few.
On Loopfreaks Black we started out in May with a strong first release featuring legendary Dj Misjah and Oedla’s
"Violence" following release with
Ally & Pipes great experimental Techno/Tech releases (watch out for their forthcoming Album), High Torque’s
"Numbers" and
"Sparks" EP’s, Sinestetici & KiloWatts chilled breaks
"Reflective Deceptor E.P." with Sinestetici's beautiful mesmerizing vocals and last but not least P.J.C. Project pres. C02
"Oxygene" which not only gained full support from Carl Cox but also made it’s way into his set at this years “Dance Valley Festival” and even more fantastic now appear on just released
"Carl Cox Live At Dance Valley 2008" 2xCD Compilation out on Mid-Town Records.
2008 is also the year where we hit various Promo Pool Charts and where our two internal Promo Pools really picked up with massive support from many of the “who’s who” Dj’s, Radio jocks and Magazines.
What's cooking?
We are working hard on a new soon to be launched Loopfreaks Portal / Website with many new features including up-to-date news, free goodies, competitions etc. Stay tuned for the re-launch date.
On Loopfreaks Records we are very proud to have signed, in our opinion, the next generation of stars such as
Soul de Marin (Soulful Jackin House),
Prunk Le Funk (Upbeat melodic House) and
Kenquo (Jackin and Progressive House). On the more funk soul note we look forward to release El Funkador and MoWz & Kasper van Kooten also from The Netherlands. The Dutch are going strong this year!
Christian Scott who have some very strong forthcoming releases on Loopfreaks Records and Loopfreaks Black has recently teamed up with legendary techno pioneer
Lenny Dee and we are proud to announce that they will release with us in the near future on Loopfreaks Black. Look out for their soon to be published Interview here on progressivehouse.
Also on Loopfreaks Black we welcome newcomer
Funktribe with his funky Progressive House and
Sync De Luxe (One half of Sonic Cube) and his Tech/Deep House productions. We also look forward to fresh releases from
Girandon,
Sinestetici & KiloWatts, Ally & Pipes with their forthcoming Album
"Next 100 Miles", new deep grinding Holm & Andersen
"Electric" Remixes and many more releases to come.
Soon we start out with Weekly label nights in Copenhagen and are also working on going abroad with our “Freak Out” Events. On that note we are also working on our first “Freak Out” CD release. A double CD Compilation with high quality House going out on Loopfreaks Records.
