<title>OUT: [IFMR039] Franzis-D - Nicotine EP</title>
 <link>http://ProgressiveHouse.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=113459#113459</link>
 <description>

Franzis-D - Folklore

Franzis-D aligns himself with producers like Synkro and Indigo, artists who make beatific bass music that chisels bits and pieces from other sounds into a beautiful but unclassifiable whole. Vocal samples, chirping synths, springy and swingy drums, all lathered in a heavy coat of reverb: Franzis-D's sound is not an unfamiliar one. But look closer and his structures are slightly off kilter: often his vocal samples seem like they're falling off the beat and landing in jagged crooks. The original track is so swollen with the weight of their emotions that they basically topple over and spill out, and the clashing of vocals and beats creates a dissonance more heartbreaking than any hackneyed chord progression.

Matias Fern?ndez Vi?a remix is nothing particularly clever about the way each one is introduced, but the resulting synergy is quite remarkable. Impersonating sound at first, a simple synth loop opens the proceedings. It quickly moves to a harsher twang, ushering in a gravelly clap and a second posse of hi-hats, this time more ragged. John Ov3rblast remix shows just how large and gleaming a tower he can build. A trilling arp and bright-hued vibes are vital here, but it's a series of singing strings which make the biggest impression, glancing in and out of the mix like a shimmering school of fish..

Orelse remix it's just as pretty, but far less cloying, the jaunty bassline is one of the most interesting bits, chiming in only on every second bar, this is a strong anchor around which the other elements again overwhelmingly cheerful rally. Zan Preve? remix are enough to get you dropping a shoulder, as a muffled bassline grows and growls, though, so does your propensity to dance like a loon in its twisted.

Dj Duma is dense and kinetic, with lowdown and subdued melodies just about balancing out the frantic intergalactic battle going on up top, his point of focus is constantly changing whereas the brutalist &quot;Folklore&quot; has you firmly locked onto its diving bass. The last remix on this EP is from John D tranquilized horn line and a supple groove which grows ever more prominent until the understated breakdown, when everything comes back in and the groove engages once more, it's deep but well aerated.

 <title>Henry Effe - Dirty EP | top notch italy techno PGZ180 Video</title>
 <link>http://ProgressiveHouse.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=113448#113448</link>
 <description>

Henry Effe was born in South of Italy in Brinidisi (Puglia). At age of 12 he felt something particular about music, becoming it on his passion of life. After having bought his first turntables, he began practicing something that will call all of his attention, Electronic Music.

Being young, he moved to North of Italy with his parents where he met with other electronic music enthusiasts to refine Dj skills and to create his own music style, mixing the old House and Minimal stuff with the recent Tech Sounds. With things much more clear and a horizon to watch, he started playing at private parties and small clubs until an Italian promoter saw his attributes and brings him a proposal to work at one of the big and famous clubs in Italy.

Now the story has began and he found massive support and respect from clubbers and the North of Italy media, becoming popular within the electronic music scene as DJ.

On December 2010 he teamed up with John Trinidad to explore a new music project called Cloudiness, starting to produce Tech House and Techno for several labels around the world.

Henry Effe is debuting on Progrezo Records with 3 original tracks of unstoppable Tech House and Techno beats, packaged in his new Dirty EP.

`Dirty' as Eps called, deliver an energetic techy house rhythm along with subtle percussions and dirty bass-line weapon, bringing to the dance-floor the necessary kick to stand up the crowd. Infected by wide effects and surreal synths, it is a useful track aimed straight to Dj sets with Tech and Tech House attitude.

'Flash' introduces us in a journey of high tech atmospheres accompanied by unstoppable ride of hats and sick bass line, brining tension with mad atmospheres and dry lead synth. The break-time comes with music spank, adding the necessary tools to make a memorable piece of cake in the party.

'Kemio' start with suggestive percussion and evolving tech-kick bringing peak-time ambience with solid rhythm. Bass line comes to destroy the mind and moves the crowd at same time. Break comes with huge mystery, revealing the dancers a bomb under the sleeve. So far it is a high quality tech tool aimed straight for top notch DJ sets.

Here we have a solid EP that for sure will call world attention within the modern and big rooms electronic music scene !!

 <title>Lafken - Bosque EP | Cinematic Landscapes | PGZ178 | Argent</title>
 <link>http://ProgressiveHouse.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=113379#113379</link>
 <description>

Recently featured on Progrezo Records with massive support as one of the three winners of New York' electronic duo band Home Video and the Remix Contest sponsored by FOEM and SoundCloud around the world, rising talent born in Argentina, Lafken, has been involved with music since early days, learning to play, guitar and drums as part of his passion.

Mariano Mendez known as Lafken started to play guitar at age of 15, becoming the motor and music inspiration of several of his music projects actually. Producing electronic music since around 4 years ago, Lafken is a deep searcher of high quality music with sophisticated ambiences.

His senses and imagination have no boundaries driving through cinematic landscapes and solid beats. His studies of sound engineering brings him the necessary tools to define as much as possible an authentic sound with own music concept, discovering modern beats surrounded by large atmospheres in any of his journeys, where every single detail it deserves kind of attention.

His debut EP delights us with 4 brilliant tracks inspired in the forest. 'El Bosque' deliver an environmental atmosphere, opening ourselves to a new level mind. Sweet and subtle, it takes us to a multi dimensional journey creating kind of emotions for the spirit, worn with an elegant mid-tempo beat.

'El Abismo' takes us into a mysterious world of black and white minimal textures surrounded by different shades of water drops. It reveals a magic place that leads us to heavenly choirs hypnotizing our head on movement.

'La Cienaga' drives through a fascinating world by its solid bass-lines and trippy melodies, climbing between different frequencies from the nature as kind of its splendor.

'Viaje Al Mar' shows Laken' more techy-house side, groovy and dynamic but always kind of melodic. It deliver a cutting-edge mental stay with twisted percussions, overwhelming beats and spacious environment, bringing us several mental and emotional planes.
