its blurred for sure...but it still retains its own unique identity...with more and more people getting involved in producing music, they are developing music to their own definition hence more variations....its like a BIG genetic tree...constantly evolving.

and more popular music continues to progress...and the lesser once die out.. survival of the fittest...so to speak.

In the end, music now a days is actually a mix of almost everything.. In m opinion prog house evolved from 80's contemporary music, house, and a genre that i forget about.. but music isn't going to end!! I'm sure new genres will be invented.

Anyway, I don't see anything new and fresh in the future. Just DJs exploring their options and not being tied too a specific genre.

100% agreed,mate.

also dj's need to make their living,so they will do everything to save the night

and that's perfectly normal. Music has only 7 notes. One day it will all become pretty boring and mixed up. And then we'll have to rely on classics only, which is not that bad!

Perfect example... Tiesto. That guy plays a lot of different styles in one show. Another good example is Matt Darey's Nocturnal Sunshine. He includes Prog House, Electro House, DNB, Dubstep and Trance. Ever heard the Libra Rising Show? They play everything under the sun!

Anyway, I don't see anything new and fresh in the future. Just DJs exploring their options and not being tied too a specific genre.
