The Montreal-based electronica label, Attitude Recordings, is backed by a collective of accomplished DJ's and producers dedicated to providing the world with quality music. Starting fresh in late 2007 with a roster of some of Canada's more notable artists, Attitude has already gained a foothold in the online community.
Producer / DJ / Musician trio FM Radio Gods along with Tapwatr (DJ Jeremy R) are the creative driving force behind the label's direction. From beat-driven monster tracks to snippets of moody soundscapes, the sound premise is wide but the goal is simple; to produce music that is challenging and inspiring. "Bite the Dust" is the first release for Attitude Recordings and sets a premise for the label's distinct and
promising future. The irresistible opening track "Bite The Dust" delivers a heavy-hitting floor smasher;
constantly growing in intensity, with an unforgettable build-up promising the ultimate kick-in.
"Decompose" starts from a simple 4/4 pattern and shapes into an eerie noise-infected journey, seducing
us every step of the way. From its opening bars the final track of the EP "Fishbone" engages the listener
in a moody atmosphere that quickly transforms into a powerful sawtooth explosion.
Throughout all three tracks on the “Bite the Dust” EP, the soundscape is unmistakable and gives birth to
a label devoted to providing the world with forward-thinking music for years to come.
