The Montreal-based electronica label, Attitude Recordings, is backed by a collective of accomplished DJ's and producers dedicated to providing the world with quality music. Starting fresh in late 2007 with a roster of some of Canada's more notable artists, Attitude has already gained a foothold in the online community.
Producer / DJ / Musician trio FM Radio Gods along with Tapwatr (DJ Jeremy R) are the creative driving force behind the label's direction. From beat-driven monster tracks to snippets of moody soundscapes, the sound premise is wide but the goal is simple; to produce music that is challenging and inspiring. Hidra is the solo electronica project of Gabriel Petrin. Born into a French-Canadian family, he has always had a close relationship with music. As an event organizer, he cultivated his interest in electronica which in turn lead to a strong involvement in music production.
Hidra's talent has created a powerful, smooth and progressive style of music, which is earning him acclaim from fans around the world.
Attitude Recordings is proud to introduce Hidra with his debut Attitude EP "NightTime". His title track takes the listener through a progressive soundscape that is both smooth and intense. Attitude Recordings is also proud to introduce Wyrl with his take on Hidra's original. The remix combines elements of trance and electro and defines the truly creative energy of Wyrl.
