  Elektrax Recordings was founded in the year of 2001 in Sydney, Australia, by DJ and producer DJ Hi-Shock. The first vinyl release "Nagano Trax vol.1" was pressed and distributed throughout Europe via Soundbase, Germany. The label was then re-started digitally in 2005 with some limited re-releases of still fresh sounding productions from the late 90's and introducing latest material from international talents.

These days Elektrax is 80% digital and 20% conventional record label focusing on releasing mainly Deep, Minimal and Hard Techno, Dark Progressive, Psy Tekkno and Hard Trance.

With releases and remixes from new and established producers such as Zen Paradox, Secret Surfer, Sonic Voyagers, Tr-Storm, FSOM, Psi Room, Thomas P. Heckmann, and head-honcho DJ Hi-Shock, the label has already built up a solid identity and is gaining support from many top DJs worldwide.

elek013 Chrono - Voyager EP (Jul 23rd, 2008)
Voyager EP produced by DJ Chrono is mainly a combination of progressive house, melodic trance and electro breaks.

The music is full of deep breakdowns, rich soundscapes, melancholic melodies and creepy undertones. A variety of styles is brought together nicely and influences of minimal, idm, pure techno and goa trance can be heard in some of the tracks.

This release has been receiving amazing feedback from the music communit

elek012 DJ Hi-Shock - Suburbia Remixes (Jul 16th, 2008)
The legendary rave epic, "Suburbia", hugely successful on the warehouse circuit and originally released on "Nagano Trax vol 1", has received an upgrade.

Think new, slamming techno mixes from Hakker, Secret Surfer, and Alice Yung, along with a banging psy-tekk version put together by Psi Room.

Also tune in to a dash of pounding electronica provided by Little Nobody, and round it all off with a twisted electro-acid house take

elek011 Hypnotic Hour - Blinkless EP (Jul 1st, 2008)
One of the coolest new progressive projects from Europe is Hypnotic Hour who present us with their debut release on Elektrax Recordings - Blinkless EP.

The Romanian duo of DJ Topo and Emil Oprea, introduce us to their rich and energetic sounds of Hard Trance with noticeable influences of tribal techno and powerful Goa trance!

A new compilation from Elektrax Recordings featuring releases from the darker sides of hard-techno and hard banging minimal!

elek010 Psi Room - Psy Tekk vol.1 (May 10th, 2008)
Elektrax Recordings is proud to present Psi Room, a new project for the labels darker techno and tekk-trance releases.

The "Psy Tekk vol.1" debut 3-track EP offers a crossover of driving, hard techno with a touch of classic Goa trance elements.

The EP starts off with “Underground – New Network Mix” where the listener will experience layers of deep, hypnotizing grooves and dark, psychedelic atmospheres.

elek009 Zen Paradox - Corrosive Artifacts EP (May 8th, 2008)
Zen Paradox's hard techno and acid classics have just been re-released in digital format!

Zen Paradox started back in 1991 as a solo outlet for Steve Law's more techno-oriented works, and he shaped up as one of Melbourne's principle live acts, playing at big warehouse rave parties like Every Picture Tells A Story, Hardware and Omniglobe, as well as more experimental smaller gigs and some TOTEM parties in Sydney.

elek008 Various Artists - Spirit Ov Thee Acid EP (May 6th, 2008)
A compilation EP featuring 4 strong techno and acid trax with a great funky old-school feel to it!

First up is FSOM with a slamming remix by Thomas P. Heckmann (AFU, Trope, Force Inc) followed by a 303 rocker from Voiteck (Harthouse) and Zen Paradox (Psy Harmonics) who are joining forces here as Sonic Voyagers.

The last 2 tracks feature some amazing talents from the Melbourne scene: Q-Kontrol_vs_VC Faktor and Tr-Storm.

Outstanding release from the mind of one of the most versatile producers on the techno scene, DJ Hi-Shock.

This time Hi-Shock delivers a Banging, Progressive / Hard House stormer “Bodywork EP”.

This is a top notch 3-track EP of pumpin' sounds with a funky and hard, bouncy techno flavor that will surely move any dancefloor out there!

elek006 DJ Hi-Shock - Nagano Trax vol.2 (May 4th, 2008)
This release is a follow up to elek001 - Nagano Trax vol.1, which was originally released on vinyl in 2001. The Vol.2 features some unreleased material from the same era.

The main track here is the "Shinkansen Mix" of Nagano which was floating around on white label during the late 90's.

The track features some of the best techno & classic goa/psy trance elements and is still sounding fresh and powerful with it's sparkling p

elek005 Secret Surfer - Minimal Future EP (May 2nd, 2008)
Secret Surfer follows up the hard edged "Purple Flare EP" with a more minimalistic take on the hard techno genre with his latest "Minimal Future EP".

Lots of funky and minimal elements, punchy bassdrums and hallucinating rhythms. This is proper minimal techno material from the creative mind of Scandinavian producer Secret Surfer and a pulsating remix of "Download" from the German computer underworld master: HAKKER!

Inspired by the early electronic music of Detroit, Chicago, early German techno and underground sounds of Belgian New Beat, he began his versatile professional DJ career in 1988. Secret Surfer used to play bass guitar in an electro funk band in the 80's.
Currently working on a hard techno compilation album for Elektrax Recordings.

His first release Purple Flare EP delivers a lot of hard edged minimal techno sounds and pure hard techno rhythms.

New and rare techno artist from South Korea who produces dark, underground techno and cyber trance. She has also released some moody trance and dark, progressive house on the Hypnotic Room label.

It would take two years of preparations and collaborations before everything would be ready. By the end of 2007, Italian independent dance music label, M:touch Records, was born.

This young label has many purposes, and it aspires to obtain a space among other dance labels. But certainly its most important goal of all is to discover new sounds and new talents in electronic music, and to give them the highest visibility possible.
