HRoom016 Little Nobody - Woklurk Orange EP (Sep 9th, 2008)
The Original Mix of "Woklurk Orange" starts off grainy and lo-fi, like a radio not quite in tune, with someone lazily tinkering on a keyboard, before the kick kicks in. And it’s a mighty kick – deep, powerful, spellbinding. The tempo may be slow, the haunting pads in the background might be moody and there may be ethereal, drifting moments to the track, but overall it’s a funky, sublime, "Booka Shade" style piece that leaves you breathless!

HRoom015 Dick Drone - Engine Room EP (Aug 12th, 2008)
‘Engine Room’, the stunning track produced by Tokyo-based Dick Drone five years ago, has been given a wildly engaging 2008 renovation, Sydney versus Tokyo style.

Little Nobody goes for a tech-acid injection that’s funky enough to move the most wizened of house music clubbers, and eclectic enough to satisfy the more discerning trainspotting set.

DJ Hi-Shock’s mix is stadium-deep and spacious, with a breakdown half way through

HRoom014 Zen Paradox - Liquid Spheres EP (Jul 31st, 2008)
Zen Paradox was established in 1991 by Steve Law as a solo outlet for his more techno oriented electronic music work. Steve has previously been a member of the groups Foil and Guild of Fire, and is a current member of Black Cab and High Pass Filter. His other solo projects include Mutagenic Mind, Mr. Suspicious and Solitary Soul.

Steve has been producing avant garde and electro-acoustic music since 1984, and in 1996 was awarded the ABC

HRoom013 Ein Kleiner Schelm vs. Little Nobody - Live in Tokyo EP (Jul 21st, 2008)
The EP starts off with Little Nobody teaming up with Magnet Toy to deliver the dark, tuff, stadium-techno assault of "Depth Charge", a track sounding very Luke Slater, a la Planetary Assualt Systems.

The second live track, "Bulletproof", chills a fraction as it begins with a laidback beat that slowly morphs into a nice, funky stereo mix. This is solid tech house!

"Live Mix 1.0" has a distorted bassline that pans, then fittin

HRoom012 Dale Baldwin - Where's my Game Boy EP (Jun 30th, 2008)
Where's my Game Boy EP is the first release from Canberra based producer Dale Baldwin.

Originally starting out collecting vinyl at the tender age of 16 he has been influenced by everything from early Chicago and Detroit sounds to UK Drum n Bass and Garage.

Choosing not to follow the latest trends, Where's my Game Boy EP sticks its finger up at the fluro clad electro massive sweaping Australia and heads back in the direction

HRoomCD001 Various Artists - LITTLE NOBODY presents SLAM-DUNK NINJA: The Perspicacious Remix Selection (Jun 17th, 2008)

HRoom011 Little Nobody - Wayward Seafarers EP (Jun 3rd, 2008)
Wayward Seafarers is a 5-track journey by Little Nobody that rearranges sounds and samples from the critically acclaimed Game Over: Variations EP to create 5 completely different tracks and musical genres, all of them electronic in nature, with shades of hip-hop, acidic techno, cut-up experimentalism, dub, ambience, and club cool.

HRoom010 DJ Hi-Shock - Discotheque (May 10th, 2008)
This is DJ Hi-Shock's debut release on the Hypnotic Room label. Usually he is known to produce hard and minimal techno but this time around Hi-Shock experiments with a more club oriented sound and delivers three excellent takes of the dancefloor friendly "Discotheque".

There is a bit of everything here from bouncy techno, a bit of breaks, electro, hard house, funky tech-house and even some classic trance thrown in.

The sound

HRoom008 Deep Night - Future House EP (May 6th, 2008)
"Future House EP" sees Deep Night moving into the funky, euro tech-house direction. The beauty with this release is that the music is diverse enough to be played on both the house and the techno dancefloors.

The title track "Future House" was originally produced in Japan in 1998 and recently re-mastered for this digital release. The other two tracks "Naked Love" and "Tropicana" are Deep Night's recent creations but still keep that old-

Both boys continue to make music and DJ at outdoor festivals like Rainbow

HRoom006 Little Nobody - Techelectric Tangents vol.1 (May 4th, 2008)
A collection of Little Nobody's more “jacked-up”, club-oriented tracks (with a seriously twisted edge!), sourced from the first few years of Little Nobody’s studio recording career.

This EP includes the original Little Nobody mix of Cocaine Speaking, a track first penned by Andrez Bergen with fellow Melbourne producer, Jeff Willis (AKA Kandyman).

Also here is Si Begg’s remix of another Little Nobody classic, Alright Already,

HRoom005 Deep Night - Hypnotic Darkness EP (May 2nd, 2008)
Another great 3-tracker from the diverse mind of Sydney based DEEP NIGHT (aka. DJ Hi-Shock).

First up you'll discover the fusion of hard techno and funky acid undertones on "Hypnotic Darkness", then come the hypnotizing synth lines and groovey rhythms of "World in Motion" and finally there is the Electro Breaks stormer "Wicked Beat".

HRoom004 Alice Yung - Mixed Emotions EP (May 1st, 2008)
Alice Yung is a new and very rare techno artist from South Korea, the land usually associated with tasty Kim-Chi, Soju and great movies.

Mixed Emotions EP invites the listener to a long, hypnotic journey of darkish techno-acid-trance with pulsating, bubbly frequencies and echoing atmospheres from another world.

Alice Yung has also released a very strong 4-tracker "Discovery EP" on Elektrax Recordings.

Genkaku EP features a slamming and hallucinating techno remix of "Long Weekend" by Sydney's DJ Hi-Shock.
