Kickroach Recordings
(Québec, Canada)
kickroach.com
We are a brand new electronic mainly digital label, based in Canada in the beautiful region of Québec, our goal: promote the best artists outside there, people who share the same vision of life and music.
We propose an electronic sound, sometimes tech, sometimes prog, but why name it? let’s enjoy music! We cover different musical styles because we all have different musical backgrounds and tastes, we love everything that sounds different and we are not focused just on one music style. Our most representative artists are:
Saul B (yoshitoshi, existence, progressive grooves) Sam Perez (yoshitoshi, baroque, restart, ocean trax)

When you play any of these tracks you know they come from Djak Unit.
After the success of Space Camp, this time he makes things bigger doing a
whole album dedicated to the electronic world.
Morning Glories is as beautiful as different.
We move from the house anthem Morning Glory, that gives the name to the
album, through minimal and more tech atmospheres as Strange Daze,
Floor Cleaner and Kerplunk. La Cite Dort is a track with a melody you can’t
forget, while Sleazy Dance tastes “acid”, you will fall in love with
Physical Attraction and his drum sounds, and at the end another hypnotic
track As Ur, to finish this twisted and clever album. Thumbs up!!
Kickroach: educating while entertaining.

Reviewed:
As a somewhat disappointing follow up to "Space Camp," Djak Unit and Kickroach present "Morning Glories." The eight new tracks are hit or miss, but with a respectable use of vocal samples.
Morning Glory unfortunately doesn’t have much appeal with its super-basic percussion. It does however have some appealing progressive bass elements and a verbed-up space vocal, but the xylophonic synth is overly simple/unpleasant and the pitch bending in the outro can be hard to layer.
