NSM007 Michael Badal - Retrospect (Aug 5th, 2008)
Retrospect is a retro-style melodic, progressive
track with a bouncy bassline and big summer melodies.
Martin Villeneuve (MV) turns in a peak time electro-progressive
stormer, showcasing the melodies of the original, with plenty of
extra grit. Kris B & Nosmo take a more laid back approach, with techy
beats and bass, highlighting the acoustic guitar parts, sure to
rock sunrises and sunsets this summer. Michael's r

Claudio Vittori (CL. Audio) has been releasing amazing techno, house and minimal from his home of Milano, on his own imprint Machine Jockey (named to describe his ecletic live tehcno sets).

NSM006 Virus J & DJ Sun - We Are The Robots (Jun 19th, 2008)
Virus J & DJ Sun first hit most people's ears through releases and remixes on Distraekt (Pilliavin & Zimbardo's label). Since then, their work has been supported by John Digweed, Hybrid, Anthony Pappa, they even found themselves opening up for Underworld.
"We Are The Robots" has a funky bassline, driving beats, vocoded vocals (paying homage to Kraftwerk no doubt), lots of weird hits, mechanical noises and melodies. This is a cross-genre, e

NSM004 Anthony Ross feat. Leyla - Mistakes Aren't Forgotten (May 20th, 2008)
Anthony Ross' recent remix of Utah Saints (w/ J Scott G) is still riding high on the charts, and with releases and remixes lined up for Ministry of Sound and Little Mountain, and a residency for Giant in San Diego, things are looking up for this talented young producer/DJ. His original instrumental mix of "Mistakes Aren't Forgotten", layers warm chords and melodies, over a funky, progressive bassline and shuffly house beats.

3kStatic's new album "Voodoo Science" was on the Grammy ballot for 2008, and since it's release at the end of January, has hit top sales on charts all over Europe. We're happy to be releasing the remix package, from one of our long time favorites Subsky, and a remix from our fellow Chicago lad Ben Brown, whose single "Tessera" recently hit number one on the Balance chart. Other mixes from Kris B v Nosmo, Torin and Kris B & Madison. Support: Eel

NSM003 Kris B vs Holosound - Kids On Acid (Feb 12th, 2008)
The original mix is powerful, busy, tech house. Dark quirky sounds and pitched 909 toms make the bulk of the melody, over a dirty, acid bassline. The vocal sample comes from a 1960's science reel on LSD experimentation. Jeff Devas turns in a tribal, driving, progressive remix. Huge drums, cool techy chords, and big melodic dynamics in the break. Nosmo v Kris B bring a peak time, acid tinged electro house remix. Kabuto & Koji did a deep, tec

NSM002 Holosound - Ah (Feb 5th, 2008)
The second release on Nightshade Music comes from the New York duo
Holosound. Holosound recently remixed Kaskade's "Be Still" for Ultra
records, Jaytech's "Engage" and have had several well received solo
productions. The original mix of "Ah" will be another, with funky house
beats, a bouncey bassline, progressive melodies and Holosound's chopped up
vocal sound.
Remixes on this package come from Kabuto & Koji

NSM001 Kris B v Nosmo - Origins (Feb 5th, 2008)
"Certainly our pick of the month from the deeper side of progressive, with true quirky and fresh warmup atmosphere that will get just about anybody shaking their stuff to the groove. Words can't explain how truly good the production of this sounds, with true depth and interest in every sound used here - a fine example to all. This is the first release from Nightshade and hope to hear a lots more along these lines throughout '07. Don't miss this o

Featured Label
This week's featured label:
It would take two years of preparations and collaborations before everything would be ready. By the end of 2007, Italian independent dance music label, M:touch Records, was born.
This young label has many purposes, and it aspires to obtain a space among other dance labels. But certainly its most important goal of all is to discover new sounds and new talents in electronic music, and to give them the highest visibility possible.
