Pangea Recordings
( United States)

Big DJ support and a lot of hard work paved the way for Pangea to become an international label in 2003 with the release of Evrydaydowners “This World,” which topped numerous charts such as Hooj and was dubbed by them to be THE record of the Winter Music Conference 2003. Pangea's third release was also championed at that same winter music conference at the Ultra Festival, where Sasha and Digweed played Joshua Collin's “Project 3.” Released the following September, it is still pleasing crowds until this very day. 2003 was a very bright year for the label.
The success of Pangea Recordings has enabled the label to branch out into other parts of the world and genres of music in 2004. Pangea UK was formed July 14, 2004, and saw its first release in October 2004. This sister label is dedicated to dance music with a harder vibe but still progressive in its sound and structure, and is managed and located in the United Kingdom.
Another sister label, Pangea Recordings Digital was formed in order to promote and take advantage of the growing trend of on-line merchandising of music. Pangea Digital will be launched on May 1st, 2005 exclusively through EDM digital, and will vary as to style and genre without sacrificing the quality that Pangea has become world renown for.
In April 2005, Pangea Recordings took part in E.A.R.T.H. Expo 2005, coordinated by the City of Miami Environmental Division. The City of Miami Beach celebrated Earth Day with a free event to create awareness of local and global environmental issues. E.A.R.T.H. Expo ‘5 – Miami Beach (E.A.R.T.H.: Environmental Awareness and Resources Towards Healing) was held on Sunday, April 10 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Miami Beach’s Lummus Park.
In September 2005, Pangea Recordings also took part in San Francisco's 2nd Annual Love Parade. Pangea Recordings was one of the main sponsors for the PUREFUTURE Float. Label residents, Maji and Samer (Evrydaydowners), spun for a crowd of more than 80,000 people. Samer was also asked to compile the Pure Resonance Love Parade Mix Compilation.
2007 looks to be another promising year for Pangea. Our line up includes more ground breaking music, with plans to expand into the regions of South America and the Middle East. The label resident, DJ Samer, who also has written great music under the evrydaydowners guise, has been signed to remixes for several well respected labels with many scheduled to be released this year.

PANG-016 Andy Moor vs. Michael Wilson - Control Me EP (The Remixes) (Sep 14th, 2008)
Release Date: Sep 14th, 2008
» User Rating: 3.48 / 5
» Promo Pool: 3.48 / 5
» Top Rank: Reached #12 on Aug 17th, 2008
Pangea’s 10th anniversary release was a smash success. But then
again, with Andy Moor and Michael Wilson of superstar electronic music
band Tilt at the helm, what else could be expected.
For the remixes of “Control Me”, we enlisted two of the most upcoming
new artists the scene has to offer. Up first, Chad Cisneros, who is
currently doing work for stellar labels such as Armada, Flashover, Lost
Language, AVA, Baroque, and Curvve, and has already done work for
the Pangea crew, delivers one hell of a storming mix that impressed
Andy Moor so much that he signed him to his own label. Chad has
developed his signature deep and energetic prog-trance style that has
appealed to deep proggers, electro house fans, and trance heads
alike. Toby Emerson delivers the second mix. Toby is fresh off his
Space Manoeuvres remix of “Octobot” now out on Lost Language, and
is also doing work for such labels as System Recordings and Sola
Records. Toby’s equally energetic remix makes for a perfect
compliment to Chad’s mix and an overall very impressive remix EP.
