Finder & Folsky – is a project of two composers with whom we has already worked last year. It was two remixes on Gribanov – Rain.
Light State is a separate release which includes remixes of Johan Afterglow and N-Code.
The author of the track Keechroot say sthat the idea of Light State was born long ago. Since then the track has changed its name. After I had met Finder & Folsky we tried to make a mutual work and made several remixes before Light State became as it is now.
Finder and Folsky says: We completed this track and wondered how other artists might feel this track. We considered it would be great to include remixes from N-Code who is one of the most interesting producers in Ukraine as well as Johan Afterglow whose good feeling of music is well known in Europe.

Johan Afterglow remix. There is a great mix of fizzles, hisses and sinking base in it. The combination of these sounds and distorted voices immediately and easily brings listener into the parallel world. Intricate blending of Electro House, Progressive House and futuristic Techno gives special taste to the track.

On the other hand the N-Code remix energizes. As a result we have a perfect contrast.

1. Light State (Johan Afteglow remix)
2. Light State (N-Code remix)

"Johan Afterglow remix is cool, but moves along a bit too slowly. Would chop some of the ideas down and make the remix more concise. N-Code remix is much more dancefloor friendly with a kick drum that really pounds." - 3.0 / 5
Darin Epsilon (USA)
(DI.fm, Proton, Groovecollection, Curvve, System Recordings, Dissident, Inkfish, Balance Record Pool)

"The N-Code remix is the better of the two here. While the JA remix sounds like it needs to be mastered." - 3.0 / 5

"The N-Code is good! Very versatile, with both tech and electro elements.. it's far from minimal though. I think the Johan remix could have used a little less fx, and more sidechain compression with the breakbeat, to give it more of a punch. That one sounds very muddy and drowned out. Lot of potential with the overall construction of the track though- some EQ and compression tweaking could really set it off." - 2.5 / 5
