Sancho & E-Lation feat Second Sky - Dirty Innovation
  Label: Swordtail
  Released: October 1st, 2007
  Reviewed: 9/10
Swordtail Records the label that is bringing you some of the freshest progressive sounds from around the world. Offers up release #9 with Sancho & E-Lation feat Second Sky - Dirty Innovation. There are 4 mixes in total with this package lets get started.

The original mix by Sancho & E-Lation - this track starts off with a nice musical intro and a mid tempo and builds with a solid vocal touch to it into what comes across as deep house influenced track. The original while only 5:31 proves to be a track that should end eating up the airwaves and dance floors and lounges alike. The nice melodic overtones and vocals and deep bass line make this a track that needs not be slept on for sure. This is a more commercialized track but yet one worthy of many djs library. These are 2 producers to be on the look out for in the future.

The next mix is from Sancho. This mix is started off with a nice tough BREAK BEAT and some insanely deep and well worked out synth layers in this mix. The vocal is entrancing and talks you on a journey in and of itself. While again its a more commercially friendly track it is well written and laid out. Sancho is def a star on the rise I for one look toward to hearing may more of his tracks in the future.

The Brisker & Magitman mix is a barn stormer of that new age electro that is so ever popular. Very good use of the vocal and very upfront bass make this an electro fans delight. The efx in this track add the right atmosphere and tension to the track. The break down is very refreshing withe filtered and delayed vocal. Brisker & Mag know how to arrange an track and keep the listener enthralled. This one is sure to do well in larger & smaller rooms alike. Keep your ears and eyes out for this magic duo.

The Natives Mix starts off with a nice atmospheric intro much like the original. When the beat comes in it adds a nice amount of tension without it being over stated or underdone. There is also some exceptional synth work here as well. This track being the longest of the mixes should do well on dance floors playing deep house or some deep progressive house as well. The vocal work in this track sends you a journey into outer space, a nice solid overall track.

Overall this ep is one big AURAL pleasure that people should be knocking down distributor doors to get at.
