WOW what a solid remix collection of deep grooving, down to earth beats. It just makes me want to feel and groove it from the original mix. However be warned this release comes with a (very) large variety of remixes and not all winners. The original is a slow steady grooving builder, great melodic and entrancing structure creates a unique atmosphere of beats and atmospheric sounds. This is prime for a deep mix on a classic prog set. The C.O.U. Muzik remix brings a lighter atmosphere and maintains the deep darkness of this track quite nicely. It's too much different than the original however, and the vocal beat overlays give room for improvement. The Deviant's remix as usual brings a unique prog and tech sounding atmosphere, drawing out the deeper house elements. At least thats the way it starts. Without that annoying squealy out of tune trumpet like synth line this track would have total potential. gotta minus for this remix, it started nice, but ends just a mishmash of sounds and out of placement synths. The Peter Haze mix finally brings some unique extra vocals extending the great atmospheric properties of the original, making it a deeper even more challenging remix for the right pleasurable time. Ready for a house floor only. The Tobbias Hope 'mercy' remix is nice and reminiscent of the recent Tobbias sound, however it's a stretch to say it's all that much different from what's already here. The Ephriam remix is another solid remix, bringing more of a solid grooving house feel. Unfortunately though it gets lost among the many other remixes, making it overall quite average. The Ephriam dub is quite the same, trying for a new approach and succeeds with electronic like feel, but overall has rather repetitive beats and uninspiring structure. The Paul Prior remix is lost yet again among the many remixes. A very light hearted deep tech house atmospheric remix. It lacks in solid mastering and is rather RMS quiet. There is a nice deep beat structure for the right DJ to remix, though again this one may just get lost in the myriad of other remixes. The D.S.S. mix is an eclectic obscure experimental track remix useful for very odd sounds and spooky landscapes. Warning. Overall this is a solid release with many solid grooving tracks, and great production and artistic talent behind it. Unfortunately the amount of remixes is often a drawback and can hinder any single remix from being the true release winner.
