Track one "Tero Civil" (Paranoid remix) by UandK opens and at the intro it becomes clear this is gonna rival the best of dance complilations as it comes in immediately appears as if to chance key, love that kind of thing, alot of energy on this and industrial sounds to sweeps of atsmoshere. the bass flows along with it, the track sticks to its idea and continues to flow along with it.
Two, D-Sens vs Eegor Curtis Landing follows, more freestyle progressive this increases the energy from before, a progressive number that bubbles more then a hot kettle, you would be excused for thinking this was for a top mainstream progressive label, sharp production and distinct sound.
As the vocal comes in on Track three Rhian Sheehan "Hiding place" (embark rmx) you can see the level of this pack is at, the highest i can only go as far as to compare to the top progressive producers on this, in fact all so far. Rhian vocal strikes immediate appeal on this one and is tonal perfection
Next Womat and "Helo" continues on the polished progressive theme, yet this has a little more attitude to it. This sound is become a club favourite right now.
Number five Fulcrum "Curious calm" sets out a bit more ambient but is a progressive building tune, another example of good choices made on this complete pack.
Fjord "Keen" starts building along slowly this intential it continues with the overall theme fusing soundtrack, industrial and all being simmered in the pot of progressive greatness.
RPO & Davidweed "Plovdiv" begins to add a bit more energy to the mix again, beats are sweet and electonic elements glide in the background, huge width to this track, further credit sending to production.
Kings in Motion "Storm Flavour" clear simple beat feeds in electronic moments, and classic computerised sound mix only to add to the mix.
Urban Monkeys "Chicken Legs" finishes the pack taking us a bit deeper, electronically tribal this switches to a more typically end of set climax, grindy and nasty.
In conclusion the album is a good one, as mentioned the production is impeccable were this a mix set from a top 5 dj you would consider the mix faultless, but as it is we have a choice, as an album or to pick through it, there are good tunes here, but this is a great pack with i feel might be worth the effort to be sure you complete this list.
Congrats go out to Open Records!
