Bit Crushers - Movin' Too Fast
Released: March 19th, 2008
Reviewed: 5/5
The often fantastic Omnis label have lined up another great release from NYC trio Bit Crushers. This promo has already been causing a buzz on the underground with an appearance on the last Toolroom mix compilation from Tom Novy and Im told has been earmarked for inclusion on none other that John Digweeds upcoming Transitions 4 CD.
Well I'm happy to say that it all lives up to the hype with the faultess original leading the way for a great selection of remixes from some real heavy hitters on the scene.
The glitchy and pumping sounds build up in layers to a wonderful vocal break down before kicking back in to its main groove. It really is a stylish tune and sparkles with a quality that is sadly lacking from a lot of releases you see kicking about.
The quality doesn't dip on the remixes provided here with a techy groover from Jamie Stevens two great dubs from Oliver Molden and Alex Kenji and some big room electro style reworks from Mikel Curcio and Medway & McCaff.
So something for everyone here and I really recommend you check it out for yourself. A true 5 star release Omnis have really raised the bar with this...Producers and Labels take note!
