Obvious not content with conquering the world with their own distinct blend of european beat and bleep, Loopfreaks turn to a more North American style of house releasing Christian Scott.
Chazants Original comes in with the beats effected and bouncing of the walls, simple offbeat bass and small cuts of vocals. At the mid way point the key change turns this real dark. With all thats going on the production keeps everything where it should be. This release has a real funk touch over it, but this for me sits in US house genre.
Chazants Don Stone Deep Space although looking to lean toward the Loopfreak usual, it carries a real US groove on it. The bass keeps it feel and sweeps hit, the key as in the original in not conventional but hold a character of its own.
Finally DJ Connie Mix kicks in on a garage timed beat, more swing factor then the other two and elements of tribal. Some nice breakdowns.
Generally this is not a style i go for but this has interesting elements, and the production is very tidy. This is quite distinctive so maybe this wont be to everyones taste.
