Xavi Carrique - Close Your Eyes (Renno Records)

Xavi Carrique is on his way to achieving a great position in the underground music scene. Born and raised in Gerona, Spain this very talented producer debuts at Renno Records with an amazing tribal house release entitled "Close Your Eyes"

The two original mixes from Xavi clearly show how he wants the dance floor to be like: pure madness! Label owner Bruno Renno and his two other Spanish favorite producers Sonnora and Eduardo Perez bring the remixes to complete this maxi.

The original and reconstruction remix both come in with a hard tribal beat, and mesmerizing synth structure. Great for peaktime dirty dirty dance floors.

The Bruno Renno remix from label owner, tries to add a different approach with some stabs and pads but nothing all that different from the originals, this would be better left off the release it's just a distraction.

Now the Sonnora remix really kicks it to a different gear adding some almost funky techy elements giving it a chunky atmospheric vibe, for those deeper more integrated sets.

The Eduardo Perez remix also adds a nice refreshing feel with a grooving house vibe, a catchy main synth line and well placed vocal structure. Good for a lifting dancy prog set.

Overall solid release, look forward to what more this producer can do in the future.
