A collaboration between Pole Folder and Shelley Harland had my attention at the credit so Proton has done well to secure such a good release.

Opening with "Radio 101" Franceaco Pico Remix this covers all the elements you would expect from a classic prog number and with such depth. There is a nice drive and shuffle about this mix too with an air of ambience too, real melodic and the production is polished to say the least.

Stuart Mckeowns Frequency Hack Remix of "Radio 101" takes a minimal path, combining rolling bass with clips from the whole composition. Its a whole new sound to this track but a well up to date sound.

Cbass & Mikobene Mona Kea comes in on a more expressional angle, the bass holds at the backset and softely we are introduced to subtle elements from the original. Nice sound transition going on here from FM to analogue. The vocal cuts nicely through here too.

Human Adams Remix of Mona Kea sits in the middle of this pack and dance music morns the loss of a great composer in the recent news of his passing.
Some of you might also be aware that as a mark of respect Proton and Beatport feature this mix at no cost.
The mix drifts with music expression that only he could produce and it has a real enhanced sound about it, stating humans skills of production. This really has immense width, I really hope everybody takes a moment to get this one and takes a moment to see what a great musician the industry has lost and the attention to detail in his work.
