Shane Ehlers - People in Stereo Ep (Succession)

Succession begins its journey and brings us Shane Ehlers. The label looks to take a leaf from successful UK labels which have gone before, and even the logo itself looks set to make its mark on an industry screaming to go back to the heydays of the super club.

People in Stereo starts us and the beat hits us with a real street urban rhythm to it, as this progresses the pattern turns to a more typical beat and it adds a more distinctly analogue theme. A darker riff takes the lead and the arrangement takes on a distinctly more laid back vibe. Real drift around sound about it and the beat takes on more tribal sounds against this backdrop.

Falling in dark rooms, more ambient at intro but cuts in to more of a swing later in the track.

The release is more filla then fire I would suggest yet in this category it seems to do the job well.

The sound is a little rawer then the polish overproduction we seen to be getting but as a label first release its carries a bit of rep that could look good the label later on.
