BlendBrank - Synthetic Symphony remixes

Label newcomers Vibrating Balance Records from Australia bring us Germany's BlendBrank and "Synthetic Symphony remixes." If this release is an indication of things to come, Vibrating Balance could quickly become one of top labels by the end of the year, having featured Shiloh the first time around, and now landing a Deadmau5 Remix.
The Deamau5 remix was a surprise to me, coming from an angle I wouldn't have expected from him. Boy this tune has real balls. His usual melodic lead chord seems to be swapped for something almost tech sounding, yet I can also see how this got its progressive tag as the melodic tones sweep past. This is definitely a jam with more attitude from the mua5 man. The mix is so crystal with a fantastic sci-fi breakdown that cuts though quite nicely.
The Emjae Remix follows nicely (quite an act to follow), yet this has real substance of its own. The percussion builds with a tribal feel before melting sweetly into a more conventional pattern. The beat just subtly grows until its obvious that its all about to come at you, and when it's all out the production is real sweet.
Mohawk Remix concludes the package with more and more filters coming in. It's full floor progressive, nice to hear it, and done so well. DJs save this one for late in the set, because when it drops, there's no coming down. I like the depth, and it's obvious this comes from someone who's spent more then enough time checking what the dancefloor requires.
A well deserved five stars!
