Sin Tek - Karmacho (Homes Art Music)
Release Date: August 7th, 2008
Reviewed: 4/5
User Rating: 2.9/5

Homes Art Music is back around this time with a very interesting EP by talented African artist, Sin Tek.

Karmacho Original version has a very inclined groove with a pluck, and an interesting freak-out type breakdown that could bring to the dancefloor a rather warped atmosphere.

The Julian Misher remix is a track with a mellower techno atmosphere and a precision line to follow in the groove.

The Jerome Montes remix is a valid alternative version aimed at those who prefer electro-house and ambient sounds. More driving and energy building, but deficient in current percussion elements/arrangements.

Moreover the Chriss V remix, with its humpy Italian styled tech-house low end and its plucky sparseness really round out the EP.

Andrea Mocce & Tom Solo [19-Aug-2008]

"jerome montes again has the driving elements captured. watch out for this kat. could use more work on definition in the low end to bring out the punchiness of the kick to work with the driving bassline so they wont mask and overlap each other." - 2.5 / 5
