Franck Delcassy - Save Me Again (MP Digital Records)
Release Date: September 15th, 2008
Reviewed: 4/5
User Rating: 3.4/5

Honestly, this release brings out some mixed reactions, initially I loved the samples, the driving energy and the sheer dynamics that each track has. All three songs have something from every genre of house ever made, classic piano, tribal drums, epic melodic synths, flowing progressive key changes, and even some electro-house gritty bass, woah! Taken all together, that's a lot to process, yet somehow Frank Delcassy pulls it off. Give these a listen, then do it again, then maybe one more time before you decide for yourself.

Save me again has a beautiful piano with that old school feel and yet it still finds room for just about every other genre known to house. My favorite for sure, this song storms the floor without a doubt.

I dont want to be gets a little out of hand for me about half way through with its Goa styled mid-high synth, even though it doesn't linger too long, it still was over the top.

Touch Me gets going with some tribal percussion, then layering in some dirty synth bass stabs and eventually working in a high pitched whine of a melody, accompanied by some old school rave hits. Look forward to more releases by Frank Delcassy, they're sure to grab your attention.

"interesting stuff! any of these could be well used for at home mix by clever DJ. they may not be as DJ friendly, but it's not for lack of production skill, the production talent is clearly there. some remixes would be nice. TOUCH ME is very skillful intricate masterpiece. a bit odd but will try this out " - 4.0 / 5
